The Great Big Green Week
 

The Burnley and Pendle Circuit are supporting the ‘BIG GREEN WEEK’ which will be held on the 18th – 26th September. The focus of the week is for communities to take action to reduce climate change and protect our green spaces. In support of this, we are encouraging churches to organise a ‘Green’ event during this week.

 

Ideally we would like a representative from each church to volunteer to work as a collective circuit wide group to help to organise events. We hope to kick of the week with a Circuit GREEN Picnic (further details to be announced). There will be a Circuit Afternoon Tea at Christ church on Saturday 25th September and perhaps a focus on climate change and our world in Sunday Worship on 26th September.
