Since 2019, I have been keeping a record of the films I watch so I can easily say my favourite films are: ‘Roma’; ‘Portrait of a Lady on Fire’; and ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ as these films I have watched the most. A character in the film Perfect Days, Hirayama inspires me. I’m attracted to his lifestyle. He lives alone in a simple house with no luxuries, and he has set daily routines. If you haven’t seen this film, I recommend it to you. No surprise that my hobby is watching films – I find it good for me. Roger Ebert said this, “the purpose of civilisation and growth is to be able to reach out and empathise a little bit with other people. And for me, the movies are like a machine that generates empathy. It lets you understand a little bit more about different hopes, aspirations, dreams and fears. It helps us to identify with the people who are sharing this journey with us.”

Revd Tony has pastoral charge of Brierfield, Brunshaw, Greenbrook, Hapton & Southfield

My favourite film is 'It's a Wonderful Life'. This film is a reminder that we are far more valuable and significant than we realise and that we all have a lot to offer. The person who inspires me is Audrey, my youth leader from my teens who was instrumental in my first steps in faith.  Audrey continues to pray for me and encourage me. My list of hobbies includes music, visiting coffee shops, playing in a brass band and 'easy-watching' TV (usually comedy!)

Adrian has pastoral charge of Higherford, Wheatley Lane, St Andrews & St Johns.

Revd James, as Baptist Minister, has shared pastoral responsibility at Briercliffe Road Baptist/Methodist Church.
